Message	guy is guilty of anything. The buyer is always free not to bid. Leave morality out of it. The eBay auction system begs for his kind actions, not that I condone it. I agree, it would be a little more palatable if the seller would just wait until the end, and then not sell if he doesn't get the price he wants. If he runs up the price with fake bids, but the buyer still gets what he wants for a price he is willing to pay, then very little true harm is done, IMO.
